Keith makes gardens and sculptural spaces both private and public. He enjoys making sculpture for the garden and also making the garden for the sculpture. Keith is interested in creating a sense of a journey and a continuity in a garden space or environment.
This town garden has 5 oak sleeper raised beds with a paved walkthrough and seating areas. The garden continues through to a brushed concrete curved path which leads to an open shelter /summer house all of which have been designed and built by Keith.
The courtyard shown is situated within the North Tees hospital, Stockton, and was designed, built, and constructed by Keith, and the patients and staff at the hospital, with hand-made bricks and sculpture, planting, seating, and paving.
